I don’t know who came up with the word ‘blog’ or what it means – and frankly I don’t care. But I was thinking how it might become useful to add some depth to an exclamation. It’s a positive action.

When things don’t go well just “Blog It” (short form of blog-about-it). When someone criticizes your writing just say “go blog yourself!” (isn’t that sound advice?). A great imaginary place to write – your Blog Cabin (can you see yourself in there writing). When thoughts just don’t seem to flow – ‘Blog Blocked’.

When you don’t want to hear any more advice from someone just say “blog out”. That time spent aimlessly reading other blogs or about other bloggers – just ‘blogging around’. Perhaps to feel more active say “I am going blogging.”

What are your ideas for making blog an everyday word?
